At No Life Forgotten™, we recognize that recording your story is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

With You Every Step of the Way

Our team will work closely with you through all stages of the process to ensure that you are completely satisfied with the finished product.  During your “Initial Consultation”, which could be in person, over the phone or even through video conferencing, we will discuss what kind of biography you are anticipating and the next steps going forward. Our interviews are essentially guided walks down memory lane, and are conducted by our production team in your home, or other quiet environment where you are comfortable.

Pre-Production: Preparation for the interview

  1. We begin the process of preparing for the on-camera interview with an introductory meeting to learn about your story. We will discuss how to best present your story including family photos, home movies, video, memorabilia, diaries, letters and family history. We will discuss interviewing other people who will add perspective on your life.
  2. Following this meeting, we will create a custom list of thought provoking questions for the on-camera interview. These are sent to you for your review prior to filming. Topics for the interview can include your early background, career, family stories, family history, personal values, accomplishments, and life lessons.
  3. You will be asked to gather photographs and other mementos you wish to add to the finished product, and ensure they are available to be scanned or photographed for inclusion in your video biography.

The Day of Filming

On the day of your video biography interview, our professional crew will arrive to set up our camera, sound and light equipment. We are here to help you recall and record your story in a relaxed, unhurried conversational session.

Post-Production

  1. The footage from the interview is edited to create the visual impact that brings to life those people, places and events you so fondly remembered.
  2. We may access external sources for archived photos, maps, newsreel footage, period music, and other relevant documents and effects as need to compliment your personal story.
  3. After our initial edits are complete, you will receive a copy to review and provide us your comments. We respect that this is your story to tell.
  4. Once completed, we will provide you with a high quality biography in a format compatible with your current technology and viewing needs. This may be in the form of DVD’s mounting on the cloud, thumb drives, etc. When the companion photo book is requested, a hard cover bound book in a protective, reusable presentation box is included.

The No Life Forgotten™ Promise

Our ultimate aim is to capture your story in a relaxed conversational documentary style video that family and friends will be happy to watch time and time again.
